This beautiful necklace is made from the mandible of a coyote that has been split in half to display the beauty of the bone's natural aesthetic forms. This jaw has been treated with natural amber beetle shellack to preserve and accentuate the shape and definition of the bones. Additionally six coyote canine have been stitched onto the vegetable tanned leather cordage that this necklace hangs from. The base of each mandible section have been leather wrapped with a decorative piece of auburn dyed leather.
